The Molten Gold Sharara Set

This one is not a costume. It is what Keerthy Suresh wore to the pre-release event for Dorothy, Karthik Subbaraj's film with her in the lead, in September 2026 — in front of the film's red Ilaiyaraaja backdrop, and at the podium to talk about it. The press-meet footage shows no venue or city, and nobody we read names one, so neither do we.

And the outfit is not a mystery. It is Raw Mango's Imarti & Bayaar — the 'Imarti' round-neck kurta and the 'Bayaar' bias-cut sharara, both in molten gold silk twill — on sale on Raw Mango's own site at ₹55,800 for the set. That price and that stock status come from the brand's own product listing, not from the clips going round.

What you are looking at. A kurta in a gold silk twill with so much sheen it reads almost liquid: olive-gold in the shadows, near-yellow where the light hits, and crinkled all over the way handloom silk goes when it moves. A plain round neck with no placket, no buttons and no embroidery anywhere. Sleeves that stop just above the elbow. And the one detail that gives it away: a parrot-green lining that flashes at the side slit every time she walks. The sharara underneath is the same gold, fitted to the knee and flaring after it; the footage only ever catches it at the hem.

Around it, almost nothing: long pale-gold drop earrings, a single slim bar hanging from a small stud, and her hair pulled back and left long down her back.

What we are leaving off. Her footwear never shows. The event's own crowd and podium hide her hands in most frames, so there is no ring or bangle we can name.
