The mustard linen tunic set

This one is not a costume. Priya Bhavani Shankar wore it to a promotional appearance for "Irumudi" — "Irumudi Kattu" in Tamil — the Ravi Teja film she co-stars in, after it opened on 21 August 2026. You can check that yourself further down the page: the step-and-repeat behind her carries the film's Tamil title and the T-Series mark, and the standee beside her reads "A HEART WINNING BLOCKBUSTER". Nothing here is from a film.

It is also one of the pages where we can tell you exactly what she is wearing rather than what it resembles, because the label is known and the garment is still on sale.

The first thing to understand about this outfit is that it is one product, not three. AM:PM sell it as the Merula Tunic Set, and the tunic, the yellow inner and the ivory palazzos all come in that single box. So when you see a number below, it is the number for the whole look.

The tunic is the piece doing the work. Linen, in a mustard that AM:PM name after the blackbird — turdus merula, whose beak is exactly this yellow — cut long and worn completely open, with a pointed shirt collar, a curved hi-lo hem that drops to around the calf, and sleeves rolled and ruched to three-quarter. The ivory line running down the panel seams and around the cuffs and pockets is the detail everyone misreads as lace or crochet from a distance. It is not. AM:PM's own description calls it laser-cut faux leather, and once you know that, the frames make more sense: it sits flat and slightly stiff against the linen and holds a hard edge where a woven trim would ripple.

Under it, a mustard V-neck top in the same cloth, and ivory wide-leg palazzos. The whole point of the styling is that only one thing contrasts — the ivory — and it appears three times: the trim, the trousers, and nothing else.

What is deliberately not listed below: the fine gold chain, the thin gold bracelet on her right wrist, and the ring. All three are visible and none of them resolves to anything nameable. Her shoes do not appear in a single frame of any footage we have, so there is no third piece and we are not going to invent one.
