Our own pick, and one purchase rather than three: an open printed jacket, a plain inner and a matching wide-leg trouser, in the same dark indigo, for about a seventh of the original. The print is an ajrakh-style block motif from the same family as the bandhani on screen and at close to the same small scale, which is what makes it read right at a glance. Three differences to know before you buy: this jacket stops at the hip where hers falls to the floor; it has no contrast embroidered band down the front, which is the single detail that makes the Ilaara jacket recognisable; and the inner is a plain crop top rather than a patchwork one.
